Air Jordan 13 Flint Is Back in 2020 With Nostalgic Vibes!

2020 is officially the year of retros and Jordan Brand surely got us all in the feels. With the Jordan 6 DMP and the upcoming AJ5 Fire Red, we barely have time to think! Finally, The Air Jordan 13 Flint is making a comeback after a long while, to the excitement of Jordan fans out there!

A Little Design Backstory!

Did you ever wonder why the Air Jordan 13 silhouette looks like this? Well, the inspiration behind Tinker Hatfield’s design is Jordan himself. He reminded Hatfield of a cat with his moves on the court, so we got kicks with outsoles that look like paws. Let’s not forget the hologram on the collar similar to cat eyes that reflect lights, which we love!

Air Jordan 13 Flint: True to the OGs!

So this is not the first time we get to see the Air Jordan 13 Flint. In fact, this is the fourth drop, but admittedly the closest to the OGs as Jordan could bring us!

On Valentine’s Day of 1998, Jordan Brand gave the OG sneakerheads, those who camped out in queues, the ultimate gift. A new colorway of Air Jordan 13. The kicks dropped twice later, in 2005 and 2010. But a rumored 2017 rerelease never saw the light of day. Finally, in 2020, 10 years after the last drop, we’re getting another shot at copping the Air Jordan 13 Flint!

The upper is a mix of white leather, flint grey suede, and reflective navy mesh side panels. The look is complete with a blue Jumpman embroidery on the tongue and the holographic eye on the collar!

When and Why to Cop!

The new Air Jordan 13 Flint is going to drop on May 30, 2020, and will retail for $190! And if you’re wondering why you should cop that pair of kicks, take a look at the average resale value. The kicks currently resell for an average of $369, which is almost 2x the original price! And Air Jordan 13 Flint is one of those pairs that become even more valuable when they’re old, so you should definitely consider that!

Save That Date… and Some More!

Air Jordan 13 Flint is one of those must-hop-on opportunities that you can’t miss. So better be ready when it’s time for the drop. However, waiting is hard, and you must fill your time with something else, so it might as well be… another cop! We’d suggest you go after the upcoming Yeezy 700 MNVN colorways and the Supreme Week 9 drop!
